My Friends: T&G

Last night I had dinner with T&G at the Golden Cowrie restaurant. The three of us have been good friends since our CIM days. We don't see each other often but we just pick up from where we last laughed with each other. G is based in the US, while T is a multi-tasking Family Physician here in the city.

We had a blast reminiscing our medical clerkship days- our rotation in Pedia , Medicine, Surgery and OB... how we had an altercation with two of our group mates who we considered as having "Consultant Syndrome" because they acted as if they were superior to us and as if they were already attending physicians, how some nurses in the hospitals called us - they did not call us Doctor or by our first names. They called us "Tern". Short for intern.

Yes, we were the lowest forms of mammals in the hospital then. :D
