There are more videos there in You Tube. Kris Allen really rocked Cebu that night at the Musicfest 2010. The Jabbawockeez were amazing with their dance moves. Mapapaindak ka rin. hihihi. The audience really loved them.
The Boyce Avenue wowed the crowd, too. They have become an addiction to some of the screaming Cebuanas. ;)

Excited To See Kris Allen!
Not me but my 10-year old daughter. It all started when she saw posters of the Musicfest 2010 kick-off concert all over the city. When she learned that Kris Allen; Season 8 American Idol, the Jabbawockeez and the Boyce Avenue will be featured in that concert, she immediately told me that she would like to watch that concert. Jabbowockeez is an all-male hiphop dance crew which won MTV’s hip-hop dance competition America’s Best Dance Crew. Boyce Avenue consists of the three brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano. I'm sure you have heard some of their songs on air. They are well known for doing acoustic renditions of popular songs.
My unica hija kept on asking me if I got the tickets already. Finally, I went to the Ticket World outlet at the Robinsons Department Store yesterday. Wow! The tickets are quite pricey! :( At first, I wanted to get the Silver tickets but when I learned that no seats will be available for that section and that the concert would take about 3 hours, I opted to have two Gold tickets reserved for the Musicfest 2010. This event that will be held on February 5, 2010 at the SM Cebu North Open Parking 2.
Well, bye for now. We're going to get our tickets this morning. Baka ma-sold out pa. Okey, I'll admit it. I'm also excited. :)

See You In Cebu!!
Pit Senyor!! The Cebu Sinulog Festival 2010 was officially launched yesterday afternoon with a festive, grand parade after a mass at the pilgrim center of the Basilica del Sto. Nino. Cebu City Vice-Mayor Rama led Cebu City government officials, the officers of the Sinulog Foundation, Inc. and the dancers in marching from the Basilica to Fuente Osmena, then towards the Cebu City Sports Center.
The theme of the parade, "Cebu, Then and Now"; showcased the festival's 30th anniversary. Fourteen dance contingents joined yesterday's opening salvo for the nine-day festivities which will peak on the Grand Sinulog Parade. Yesterday's parade was just a teaser, expect a bigger pageantry of sights, colors and sounds on the big day itself - January 17, 2010 - as we honor and pay homage to the Child Jesus,Senor Santo Nino.
So, come, visit Cebu! As the song goes, "tayo na sa Sinulog..... tayo ay mag Pit Senyor!!"

SONY CYBER-SHOT CAMERA WITH A BULLET HOLE
This one is really a newsmaker! News headline na nga sa Sun Star eh.
The allegation against the son of Cebu City Mayor gained online attention in Facebook where the owner of the camera posted her story including photos of her poor camera.
“I was drinking with some friends and i invited my friend Bea. She got really drunk and her boyfriend Miguel Osmena blamed me. and since bea had my camera he took it and shot it. F*cked up. This was hanging from my gate na by the time i got home last night.”
Then Sam (the owner of the camera) received a text message -
“Next time that has to happen Sam, the bullet goes through your head.”
This display of arrogance and violence against a woman came from a scion of a well-respected family. He is a son of a mayor, nephew of a former senator and a great grandson of the Great Old Man of Cebu, the second president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines.
