Go Beyond 60 Minutes

For 60 minutes, from 8:30 to 9:30 PM on March 27, 2010, 1 billion people are expected to turn their lights off and plunge into darkness as an expression of support to EARTH HOUR.

Earth Hour serves as a symbolic call to action against the adverse effects of global warming and climate change.

It's one good thing to turn the lights off for 60 minutes in observance of the Earth Hour but it will surely make a big difference if we commit to make every hour EArth Hour - that is to change our lifestyle to ensure our planet's survival.

There is more to Earth Hour than just switching off lights for one hour.

"Earth Hour is all about changing attitudes towards energy consumption and encouraging people to take a step back and think about the effects of their carbon footprint."
