Kong Hei Fat Choi!

The Chinese New Year is the longest and the most important celebration in the Chinese calendar. It begins on February 7, 2008. It consists of a period of celebrations, starting on New Year's Day, celebrated on the first day of the first month of the Chinese calendar. The Chinese New Year period ends with the Lantern Festival, the fifteenth day of the month.

4706 or 2008 is the year of the Rat. The rat is a sign of charm. People born in the year of the rat have sharp wit and keen sense of humor. They also have strong leadership qualities. Some of the well-known celebrities who were born in the year of the rat include Gwyneth Paltrow, Daryl Hannah, Donna Karan, Cameron Diaz, Ben Afleck, David Duchovny, Sean Penn, and Samuel L. Jackson. William Shakespeare, Mozart and Lev Tolstoi were also rat personalities.

Anyway, I just want to greet you a Happy Chinese New Year! May the Year of the Rat bring us prosperity, love, peace, joy and all of our heart's desires.
